Pisaliśmy już o aplikacjach na smartfony, niezbędnych do orientacji i przemieszczania się po mieście. Równie ważne są te do wysyłania i odbierania płatności. Aplikacje pozwalają w kilka sekund zrobić zrzutę w restauracji, zapłacić za zakupy w supermarkecie i strzyżenie u fryzjera. Zaskakuje skala popularności zjawiska. Telefonami płacą przedstawiciele wszystkich pokoleń. Zaskoczyło nas też wykorzystanie smartfonów do rozrywek grupowych. W czasie oczekiwania na pokaz morskich lwów w oceanarium na ekranie nad sceną wyświetlił się QR-kod do zeskanowania. Po chwili cała sala ożyła w zabawie – potrząsała telefonami i dynamicznie uderzała w dotykowe ekrany, podkręcana obietnicą nagród.

Przy okazji serdecznie dziękujemy redakcji CRI za piękny podarunek w postaci zakładki do książki – to znak, że są one jeszcze potrzebne w ojczyźnie papieru.

Ponieważ weekend był wietrzny, deszczowy i gradowy, prezentujemy kilka zdjęć z wcześniejszej wycieczki do harbińskiego oceanarium.

Very smart

We already wrote about the applications for smartphones, inevitable to move around the city and keep the sense of direction. Some are commonly used for sending and receiving payments. These in a few seconds allow to chip in at the restaurant, pay for the products at the supermarket or for the new haircut at the hairdresser. What surprises us is the scale of this phenomenon. The representatives of all generations pay for products and services with their phones. We were also surprised by the fact that smartphones can be used for the mass entertainment. While we were waiting for the sea lion show at the oceanarium, the QR-code was screened above the scene. A moment after the whole audience livened up in a play – shaking their phones and energetically tapping the touchscreens, encouraged by the promise of an award.

By the way, we would like to thank the staff of CRI – Poland for a beautiful gift, which was a bookmark. It means that these are still needed in the country where history of paper began.
